Where is Ottsjö?
The village is situated very beatiful in the south slope towards Ottsjö in the south part of the Åre mountains in Sweden.
It takes about a half an hour to travel by car from Åre to Ottsjö.
How many can go on the same sledge?
You can be 2 persons sitting if You are many, but the best is if one sits and one drives.
How should we be dressed?
Always warm. The cap is very important, and snowproof boots, otherwise You will get snow
in your boots and get wet and then cold.

Can I bring my own dog?
No, it just gets difficult.
Should I bring my own coffee/food?
I bring coffee on all tours longer than 1 hour.
You can order lunch on a halfday tour, but it cost a little extra.
On the wholeday tour the lunch is included.
Ive got a small injury, can I go anyway?
Just let me know and it will be no problem. Every year in week 9 we drive a handicap group (last year there where
53 persons taking part), where all kinds of handicap is present.
Does the driver sit or stand on the sledge?
The driver is standing on a pair of long ski where You also got a break so You can stop the sledge.
Is it easy to fall off the sledge?
It happends, but it´s not easy if You are attentive.
How fast will we go?
Sometimes there is a fast pace in the start and in some downhill slopes. In steep uphill slopes
You have to help the dogs.
Can the dogs run away?
The dogs follow me, so in the worst case they run up to me (I drive on the first sledge)
Do You have any weather/cold limits when You cancel a planed tour?
No we don´t have any direct limits but when it´s cold (-20 to -30 C) it use to be in consultation with the guest.
If there are kids going on the tour maybe we should make the tour shorter.
Do You sell any presents cards?
Presents cards are sold where the reciever contact me to book a date.
