Winter boots/Thermal lining. It is important that you wear warm winter boots at all times. They should be long-legged and have some kind of thermal lining.
Jacket/Trousers
It is important to be dressed in a warm jacket, preferably windproof. If you are out on a longer tour (more than an hour) it is even more important to be dressed in warm clothes. We recommend thermal trousers.
Hats and Gloves
Gärna en huva på jackan. Bra tumvantar är att föredra före fingervantar ( handskar ).
Extra equipment
In windy weather (not unusual up here in the mountains) ski goggles are recommended, especially where children are concerned. A scarf can also come in handy, for wrapping round a child's face to protect it from the cold wind and snow.
Two-day trips or longer.
Have a look at the homepage of the different dog sledge companies to see what's available.I have no appropriate clothes! Talk to the dog sled drivers. They are likely to have suitable clothes either to borrow or to hire.
